Jill's Q.S.O.

Jill E. Eggleton was made a Companion of the Queen's Service Order in this years New Year's Honour List (2010).

What did Jill do to have the Q.S.O awarded to her? There are three unique aspects to Jill which led to this recognition. She was and is an outstanding classroom teacher (she can walk the talk). She has a talent which has led to over 700 books being written and published world wide. Children in schools in New Zealand, Australia, the Pacific, USA Canada, Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong and the United Kingdom all enjoy learning to read with Jill Eggleton books.

She also has a wonderful ability to pass onto teachers her philosophy and provide practical assistance and guidance so that teachers better enjoy their job and have more success in the classroom. For example the University of Sioux Falls have awarded her adjunct status.

A superwoman? No. As Jill says, she is and has been most fortunate to have a wonderful team and family who have all supported her.

In her words "It would have been most difficult, in fact, well nigh impossible, to achieve all this on my own."
