Booms-a-daisy is a picture book text with bright quirky illustrations by Alistair Hughes. Jill Eggleton delivers a fun quirky story in which an easy going woman named Maisy tries to get on with her day but is followed everywhere by a bumblebee!

 

Maisy came skipping and tripping out of her house. She was wearing a yellow dress with black stripes and a flouncy, bouncy yellow hat on her head. Suddenly Maisy heard a buzz, buzz, buzzing behind her. 

"Booms-a-daisy, how crazy!" said Maisy. 

"A bumblebee is following Me!"
